H20 Timber Beams — Premium Spruce, Phenolic Glue, Sanded Smooth

Crafted from premium imported Russian/Finland Spruce, JINGFANG® H20 Timber Beams are engineered for high-performance concrete formwork. Each beam features an additional Poplar veneer lamination on the web, followed by a precision sanding process for an even smoother surface. We use Phenolic Glue — not Melamine — for superior water resistance and bond strength that passes the 72-hour boiling test.

Every beam undergoes strict quality inspection before leaving the factory - any piece that fails to meet our standards for glue bond integrity, dimensional accuracy, or surface finish is rejected. Tight-fitting plastic end caps protect against moisture and handling damage. SGS tested to EN 13377:2002. No delamination. Longer service life.

FAQ about JINGFANG® H20 Timber Beams

Q1: What is the difference between Phenolic Glue and Melamine Glue?

A: Phenolic Glue (WBP grade) offers superior water resistance and bond strength. It passes the 72-hour boiling test without delamination. Standard Melamine Glue (MR grade) is only moisture-resistant and typically fails after 12 hours of boiling. For concrete formwork exposed to water and high moisture, Phenolic Glue is the only reliable choice.

Q2: Why is the sanding process important?

A: After gluing, we apply an additional precision sanding step. This refines the beam surface beyond standard industry finishes, resulting in a smoother contact face. The outcome: higher quality fair-faced concrete with fewer surface imperfections.

Q3: Are your H20 beams certified?

A: Yes. Our H20 beams are SGS tested to EN 13377:2002, the European standard for prefabricated timber formwork beams. This certifies their structural performance, glue bond integrity, and overall quality.

Q4: What makes your Phenolic Glue superior to standard Melamine glue?

A: Our Phenolic Glue is WBP grade — Weather and Boil Proof. It passes the 72-hour continuous boiling test without any delamination. Standard Melamine glue typically fails within 12 hours under the same conditions. For concrete formwork exposed to rain, wet concrete, and high humidity, this difference determines whether your beams hold together or fall apart. That's why we use Phenolic Glue — and why our beams carry an SGS EN 13377:2002 certification to prove it.
